: What is the purpose of return line in a hot water system?OK here it goes READY PAY attention 1- So your boiler doesnt run dry 2- So your not wasting FUEL heating fresh water as your boiler doesnt have a return. If your talking about Domwestic H/W instead of a hydronics you should have said WHAT type of hot water return Why dont you read MY web articles MAYBE you will learn WHY ok?
