I have an Emerson E-20 diposal that is leaking water from what appears to be a seam about 3/4 of the way down the unit. Is this repairable by caulking the seam area or is this a non-repairable thing and I need to rplace?
there are products on the market (lowes plumbing dept)that would probably repair your disposer ex. liquid steel, plumbers goop, etc… but for best results i would recommend replacing unit. desposers are relatively low in cost. it possibly could be coming from a drain fitting or another part of disposer
