Ive replaced the flush valve assy (seat and flapper) twice on a F-2010 tank mfgd in 1968 and cannot get either one to seal. The toilet tank leaks down at about 1 every 15 min. Is there some trick in getting this valve to work? Or is there a better valve that can be retrofit into this tank?

The part # is 47089-07. We sell about 10 a month and have tried all of the imports and look a likes but nothing seems to work but the original. We have no problems when we use the OEM parts.
