Periodically, we get humming noise in our plumbing system at home. It is irregular in nature. Once we flush the toilet bowl, it disappears for a while and reappears again. Can you suggest what could be wrong, and how we can remedy the situation. Thanks, Vigi Gurushanta.

youll probably be looking for a worn washer or seat somewhere in the system, start with the ballcock of that toilet.
