sears water softener error message

I have a sears water softener that displays the message

assume that means error1 anyone know what this indicates

If you have the installation and operating instructions, check in there.

If not, call Sears service and ask them, they should be able to look it up. They may want to sell you a set of installation and operating instructions instead fo answering your questions, which is okay because you should have a set of the installation and operating instructions anyway.
