        Is it possible to connect a 2″ PVC pipe to a 2″ Copper pipe in a short shower drain? Thanks

          you can use a no-hub coupling or a coulder coupling.if your tight on space use a no-hub there shorter.hope this helps

            Yes BUT to guarantee a water proof connection and to do this job properly you will need the following.

            A MISSION Coupling 2″ plastic 2″ copper connection.

            You see the diameter of copper is measured by OD not ID like pipe schedule.

            Although a regular no hub coupling could work it will not be the proper job as the gap around the copper tubing would cause the outer casing of the no hub band to not sit properly.

            The Mission coupling comes designed for Copper BY schedule steel or plastic.

            The reason most plumbers dont use this great product is cost as it does cost slightly more.

            DO NOT use a FERNCO Coupling for ANYTHING relating to plumbing.
