We had a major power outage tonight due to an electrical storm. After the power was restored we have no water pressure and the pump will not run. We checked the fuses and replaced them in the breaker box. Still nothing. i am not sure what type of pump this is. It does have an air valve such as on a tire, on the top. There is a shut off handle on the pipe and a pressure gauge in line. The pressure gauge reads 20. Is it possible that the pump lost pressure during the outage? If so how do I correct the problem without the expense of a plumber? I am not cheap but do believe in trying to fix the problem before I create an undue expense. Thanks for the help
