We have just installed a small area of electrical fencing for livestock. We had to shut the main down to install then turned on the main. After doing so, the next morning, my well water pressure was zero. We through the main to the well and then we had water again. Later on, I noticed that my electrical fencing was arcing. We shut off the fencing. Again, I lost all water pressure and had to throw the well main to get the pressure running. Since both the barns electrical main and the well main are located together, is my fencing causing a short in the well, which is causing me to throw the well main? Or is there something wrong with my well pump?

Sounds dangerous to me, like a ground is missing, loose, or incorrectly wired. I would call an electrician on this one…..Lou
