I have heard conflicting views on the safety of drinking soft water that is processed through a water softner. Can someone provide information on how much salt is in the water after it goes through the softner versus the water that comes out of the tap? Thanks.
Bill,When a water softner is working correctly, there will be more salt in one slice of white bread then one glass of water.If you taste salt in the water then the softner is not working correctly.Walter Kuntz http://www.testyourwater.com
