Bathroom sink leak

I have installed a new faucet and all the pipes that go with it. When I removed the old one, there was a plastic liner in the hole of the basin. I took it out and threw it away as I thought it was part of the old fixture/faucets.Now I have l leak under the sink where the pipe meets the basin. I used Power Poxy and epoxy adhesive to patch it, but it is still leaking. I do not have any more Power Poxy and cannot find any in the stores in St. Louis.Do you have any idea of what I can do or what else I can use to patch that part? Please dont tell me to take out all the pipes and start over by inserting one of those plastic tubes like the one I removed. Also, the epoxy has hardened and I doubt that I could get that pipe out anyway at this time.Please help. Thank you.
