When I run my admittedly old dishwasher, it goes through the cycles but doesnt take in water. This problem just started yesterday and it was running fine before. Is it possible that the water line to the dishwasher became clogged? I dont think so, I think it is the dishwasher itself, but how could it run through the cycles and not take in water? Anyone know whats going on? Dan

The elect. solenoid valve on supply could have gone bad. check around under the bottom rack, some washers have a float type switch to control water level, this may have been bumped out of place. good luck
