burner won’t turn back on

        I accidentally shut off the gas to the hot water tank. We relit the pilot light and now the burner won’t turn back on. There are no further instructions. Any suggestions. It worked up until I shut off the gas.

          bg: Did you move the control back to the on position after relighting the pilot….??

            It sounds like Akmed hasi it….gas valve on unit should point to “pilot” when starting….after access panel is replaced…rotate that same knob over to “on” :0)
