One of our toilets runs almost constantly – sometimes every couple of minutes. Other than that it seems to be fine. What could be causing this and how do we fix it?

If youll take the top off your tank and look down toward the bottom youll see a flapper that lets water into the bowl when it is flushed. It is also connected to your handle. This probably is your problem. They wear out with age and you need to cut the water off to your commode and take the old flapper out and replace it. Most local hardware stores carry them or check a plumbing supply house. Hope this helps!
