I have at my home a Reliance Hot Water Heater Model 501. Recently, I see water leaking from the pressure relieve valve. I tried to open the valve a bit and then close it again to see if it stops, but it’s still leaking. How do I stop it ?????

This question comes up a lot here and the probable cause is expansion in a closed system (you may have a check valve of some type between the house and the street, making you house system a closed system), in this case you need to install an expansion tank in the hot water line, preferably near the water heater.
