I need to install about 1500 feet of water pipe from a water company meter to my house. Because of the rugged terrain and steep slope most of the line will be installed on above ground. Is ther a type of PVC piping which is not suject to solar degradation? If grey pipe does not degrade from sunlight is it ok for potable water?
