I am looking for information regarding the installation of solar pool heating mat on slate tile roofs. The present method is to lay the mat directly on the roof which causes problems with water saturating the tiles underneath. This in turn creates problems with breakage and weather leaking in. Is there a method used where the mat is kept off the roof?
