I noticed that the overflow drain thing on my castiron tub has rusted through where the pipe bends just before it meets the tub. Because this pipe doesn’t see much action, is there anything I can use to patch the pipe instead of replacing it?

A blank face plate can be installed and it has an over flow cut out Or 4″ cock hole cover BUT they can allow over flow if your not watching the tub fill up
