My tub takes about 30 minutes to fill due to the hot or cold water bearly trickling out. The Tub-shower diverter is a compression type as far as I can tell. I noticed that if I fill the tub using the shower head (on a hose extension) the tub fills really fast due to a lot better water pressure. Should I pull out the tub-shower diverter to see if the problem lies there? If so do I need to shut off all the water coming into the house before doing this or will no water flow because the hot/cold taps are off? If not what is the solution to this problem? I live in the country & suspect mineral buildups that occured before I installed my water filter to be the culpret.
