how do you repair a tub stopper. The nob is very hard to move and the stopper will not go up or down all the way. HELP, my kids want to take a bath and were all the way in China!

HELP, my kids want to take a bath and were all the way in China!Ok Robyn Ive been a plumber for 5 years atCamp Pendelton Ca. My experience tells me you can do two things buy a new waste and over flow assembly or get a can of WD-40 and see if spraying that right on the handle will free it enough so it works.
