The kitchen and bathroomdrains, drain very slowly. After they drain completely, a loud gurgle is heard. I do have a ventpipe to the roof. Help.

Richard, You have a blocked drain. Call your plumber and have the drain cleared. The gurgling is a result of the pipe running full and sucking in air through the trap as it runs away. Grahame.
