What’s the best way to add a second water heater? Assuming the electrical part is right, can I just go hot output of one into the cold input on the second one? Is there a better way? Thanks
Is this in your home? Why do you need a second water heater? Was the first one not big enough? If it was my home I would install the proper size heater to do the job. Water heaters can be tied together as you explained. Two heaters mean twice the opportunity for leaks as they age. Good Luck Bill The Local Plumber Tustin, California http://www.TheLocalPlumber.com
Thanks a lot for your reply, Bill. I do want to put two in my home because the 50gal. one I have is pretty new and another 50gal. will cost me about $200 while a 100gal will cost about $800 at Home Depot. Plus the 100 is a load to handle. Any other thoughts? Thanks again
