Water too hot, lower thermostat set at coolest, Upper controll red button pops out.Question; which unit is defective upper (pcom WH85) or lower (pcom WH7)?
More likely that the lower element is burned out, but if the upper thermostat is non-adjustable, then that could also be the problem.: Water too hot, lower thermostat set at coolest, Upper controll red button pops out.Question; which unit is defective upper (pcom WH85) or lower (pcom WH7)?
: Water too hot, lower thermostat set at coolest, Upper controll red button pops out.Question; which unit is defective upper (pcom WH85) or lower (pcom WH7)?It could be that one of the elements is burnt out and grounded(by passes thermo) causing it to heat a little all the time. you will need to cut off elect to heater take wires from element and check it with tester for faults. it the elements are ok, then Ied change both thermos as they are hard to check with any certainty.
