Rusted Floor Flange

I am remodeling a small bathroom, including putting ceramic tile on the floor. The toilets floor flange is now flush with the old floor, and is badly rusted. I would like to replace the rusted flange and raise it about 1/2 inch. How do I remove the flange from the PVC pipe, and add a new flange?Thanks
