I have a leak and it is in the side of tank at the fitting just below the thermostat adjustment. I dont know if a thermostat is bolted in here or the upper heating unit, but thats where the leak is. I bought the house 5 yrs ago and dont know the plumber. 82gal tank 2x4500watt elements
