I have a Craftmaster G1E5040T 50 gallon gas water heater installed in 1995 that has recently been discharging white deposits that have been clogging faucet screens and the screen on the washing machine hot water hose. I drain/flush the tank anually and have done so since problem encountered. I have to clean the faucet screens almost daily and was wondering if this could be a failure of the tank lining or if for some reason a sediment buildup is breaking free in large chunks? Any ideas before I bring in a plumber?
