Bart, our house was built in 48, and we have two different sizes of Crane sinks in the bathrooms, both with the water discharge built into the porcelain. Ive looked for replacement knobs (unsuccessfully) for them, but have been able to replace the washers on these unique stems by getting ones with the outside diameter the size of the opening, and filing out the inside with a rat-tail file to let it go over the larger post. What parts are you looking for? Ive had a local plumbing supply guy tell me that they had some older Crane items in the back they could look through.

I, too have old Crane sinks with the spout in the porcelain. A local plumbing supply house specializes in old stuff and had the stems in stock. They are DiNapoli Plumbing Supply in Mineola, NY (Nassau County, Long Island). Dont know phone, but area code is 516, so you can call information.: http://www.craneplumbing.com : But they have rmoved from inventory most of the special items for older fixtures. : What part are you looking for?: : I am trying to location a Manufacture of bathroom sinks.
