Im having a sewage ejector pump installed outside at the base of our new house to send all the houses sewage up to the street-level sewage main line. Weve never lived in a house that needed such a pump (with a 75 gallon capacity). My question is about smells. Will the pump generate significant fumes (into our backyard where the pump is located)? If so, what can be done??

You should have no problems , as long as the tank is correctly vented to local code, and the lid is sealed up tight…Lou
