Has anyone had a problem with their crane toilet tank splitting?

There was a rash of that happened up here in Canada about 15 years ago. A while ago you couldnt sell a Crane toilet in Regina, Saskatchewan, not for love nor money, because so many had split. I have heard that Crane had fixed its casting method, but there is always that old stock…….Lou
