        Please explain the advantages/disadvantages in using PVC in rough-ins for residential construction.

            PVC is a cold water only material and is not approved for use inside a residence. If you must use plastic, then CPVC would be the material, but oversize the piping since the opening in a given size tube is much less than the corresponding copper tube.: Please explain the advantages/disadvantages in using PVC in rough-ins for residential construction.
