I recently changed out the hot, cold & shower controls in my shower. Shortly after that we put in a new water softener. For first time ever (15yrs) pipes have been growning when turn on water from any outlet. Tried turning on all water spigots but it still makes noise.Help!

For first time ever (15yrs) pipes have been growning when turn on water from any outlet. Tried turning on all water spigots but it still makes noise.Help!it sounds like when you changed the faucet you have put stress on the water lines somewhere. and now it rubs on something when the pipe expands and contracts from hot and cold water running through them. see if you can figure out where they are rubbing and put a plastic sleeve inbetween.

Marshall, Also check main water control, where you turned off the water, the jumper valve (washer) may be vibrating. You may need the help of your plumber as you may flood your yard. (Us plumbers have various secret ways of controlling the flow of water.)
