Water shut off 2 days for sprinkler blowout–turned back on–water running at about half normal pressure in bathroom sinks and shower–tub fills with yellow water–toilet won’t flush completely for first time–HELP!

Take a strainer off the end of any of your faucets to see if 1) they are plugged 2) if this helps the water flow.

If no to both, shut and open the valve(s) you worked previously to shut the water off. This may be partially blocked or clogged with sediment.

If still no help, plumbing needs surgury to see what further problem is.

Don’t worry too much about the yellow (discolored) water. Most likely you were a bit to vigorous in opening the valve to place water pressure in your pipes and stirred up sediment. It will flush itself out with time and water usage.
