I need to run about 200 of 1-1/4 buried water pipe from the tap-in on the county water line. The county pressure is about 140 psi. Can I use sch 40 PVC, sch 80 PVC or should I use steel pipe?ThanksBrad

I would never bury a steel pipe, so PVC or copper are your options. I would use sch 40, and install the pressure reducing valve, which you are going to need anyway, at the meter/source.: I need to run about 200 of 1-1/4 buried water pipe from the tap-in on the county water line.
