How easy is it to drain a central heating system? Do I even need to do this to reseal a connecting pipe to the radiator?

Unless you know how to drain/refill, purge/bleed, shut down power and gas, adjust air pressure in the expansion tank and on and on……You should probably call a plumber or service tech for your own safety. All of these things come into play when doing work on a system. Water can very rapidly turn to steam and level a house…..pipewerks
