Does it meet code to use a union in a natural gas line. If not, what can be used in its place?

YES IT IS OKAY TO USE UNION ON NATURE GAS SYSTEM, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE ACCESSIBLE. WHICH MEANS IT CAN NOT BE IN A WALL. IF YOUR PROBLEM IS IN A WALL YOU WILL NEED TO USE A LEFT RIGHT NIPPLE .. THIS WILL BE A COUPLING AND NIPPLE THAT WHEN YOU INSTALL IT YOU THIGHTEN CLOCK WISE AND IT WILL THIGHTEN BOTH ENDS.. GOOD LUCK YOUR FRIEND THE PIPEXPERT…
