I have an American Standard 1.5 gal/flush toilet that is about 3 years old. The flapper warped and started to leak. I replace the flapper with an American Standard replacement flapper but now when we flush it drains the whole tank. I have tried to adjust the yellow foam disk on the chain but that seems to have no effect. Can anyone give me any suggestons that might help?

YOU MAY HAVE BOUGHT THE WRONG FLAPPER.. YOU MAY HAVE A FLAPPER FOR A 3.5 GALLON TANK.. YOU NEED TO ASK FOR THE 1.5 FLAPPER THEY LOOK THE SAME.. I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, GIVE IT A TRY.. GOOD LUCK YOUR FRIEND THE PIPEXPERT…
