Before my husband takes the old faucet out and tries to put a new one in, I just wanted to ask, is this impossible for a normal human to do? We have no yet gone to the store and purchased a new faucet. My husband does know a bit, he put in our garbage disposal. I know he could do this, I just have heard horror stories of people “trying” to put in a new kitchen faucet. How do I know which faucet will fit my sink?

Unless you have a weird sink, such as American Kitchens or the old Sears 6″ centers one, any faucet will fite. The horror story will not apply to installing it, the trick sometimes is to get the old one out.
