I have an old oil fired hot water heater that is in need of replacing. As far as heating water goes,Ive been very satisfied with its performance. It is much faster in heating water than my old Quick recovery electric water heater ever was. But,with the high cost of servicing this oil fired unit I am now wondering if perhaps an LPGas hot water heater is as efficient and as quick as an oil fired unit, and, since lpgas is cleaner burning, perhaps this could mean fewer service trips. Any help in this decision would be helpful and thank you. Jim
