I am purchasing a new home where the piping has many connections. In a lot of the places where two pipes are connnected, there are right angle connections. I was told by an engineer that the piping can be redone with fewer twists and turns and fewer connmections altogether. This would supposedly increase the fairly low water prerssure. Is it the connections or the bends that lower the water pressure?
