I have an electric hot water heater 4years old.Im running out of hot water after about 5-10 minutes. Any idea whats wrong? Also which is better and more efficient,gas or electric?

Also which is better and more efficient,gas or electric?Hey…I have the exact same problem…mine is 4 yrs old and I am running out of hot water after about 5-10 minutes. I was told that I needed to drain my hot water heater, because its possible sediments were covering/corroding the electric coils. So I drained it twice…not sure I see too much of a difference, but maybe so…of course now I have lost almost all hot water pressure to the tub/shower faucets…but anyway…
