my 25 yr old AO Smith garbage disposal just died. I put everything into it, including chicken bones. I want another heavy duty disposal to replace it. My appliance repair guy took it apart and was shocked that it had brushes (which looked like springs to me). hes going to try to find replacements for them. if he cant, Im in the market for a REALLY top quality disposal unit, and not a piece of junk, like the kind that everyone has (according to the appliance repair guy – A Badger (?)). Can I get some help here?
