I have a shower, which I was unable to turn on two days ago. (no water coming out when turned on) I left it alone, since I didnt need the shower right away. This morning the thing turns on (obviously it wasnt turned off) It was able to be turned off, now water (hot) was pouring from one of the pipes leading to the shower. Obviously I need this fixed, but am curious if anyone would know what would cause this?

If it was below freezing at the time where you live, my GUESS would be a possible pipe freeze-up.
