Whenever I turn on any hot water faucets in my house, the entire hot water lines go crazy – shaking and making a loud noise. There are two red gizmos just above the hot water heater… What are they and what purpose do they serve?? Thank you

Audry, those red gizmos are probably reducing valve & relief valve call a professional plumber if one of these is malfunctioning you may be risking further damage and bursting Check the plumber for a state license before letting them in.mark plumbing contractor gary in
