I own a 1986 doublewide Mobile Home that I use as rental property. had a major leak in kitchen caused by failure of polybutylene plumbing. Is there any way to recover any of the cost to re-plumb the house with the right material to prevent this from occuring again since I understand that this stuff is defective?

Is is bad, but by the terms of the settlement, mobile homes are only covered for 10 years from date of manufacture. Houses are only covered for 12 years so you would still not have made that deadline wither.
