        I live in a new home,11 months .

I periodicly get light green water .

        What can cause this ?

An excessive amounts of soldering flux has been stated as a possible cause.

        Could this be ?

How can I verify I have excessive soldering flux in my system ?

How can I remove the excessive soldering flux ?

Is flushing and agitating the system with compressed air feasible ?

Is this well water? I would think after 11 months the flux would be gone. Please see this site it is very informative on presence of copper in your water. http://www.ianr.unl.edu/PUBS/water/g1360.htm

11 months later your copper pipe should have oxidation inside this should keep any leaching of copper into the passing water at a minimum.

          Respectfully David Walling
