I have been using a Reliance 501 water heater which is less than 2 years old and for the second time there is such a strong odor like gas or rotten eggs that it is not tolerable. A plumber flushed the lines with bleach and ammonia but the smell has returned. Any ideas on what the problem is caused by and what I can do to correct this? Thanks.

Contact the manufacturer and explain it to their tech staff. They might be able to help
