We just installed a new bathroom sink, but the drain does not seem to be sealing. Used plumbers putty, etc… The fit seems fine, but the leak is a fairly steady stream from right around the fitting in the drain. Any suggestions?

If it is leaking around the sik connection, check for an out of round sink opening. If it is leaking through the drain connection use pipe dope on the drain threads before tightening the lock nut.: We just installed a new bathroom sink, but the drain does not seem to be sealing.
