Just bought a 5 yr old house with PF fixtures. Last night fiancee’ was going to take a bath, and when pulled on the round chrome/brass single control handle, it became very loose. Tonight it came off, appears the screw inside somehow unscrewed.
How do I put this back on? Doesn’t appear that the chrome front of the handle comes off to get to the screw.

It unscrews, but there is a rubber washer between it and the handle so you have to use a fair amount of force to get it started. Putting the handle back on the stem and using the palm of your hand to turn it usually does it.

Haven’t gotten it off yet, but will keep trying!
