Is it difficult to remove a toilet, repair the floor in the bathroom, then replace the toilet? I would prefer that it not leak afterwards. A carpenter friend told me that getting the toilet to seat on a wax seal is pretty tricky. I also prefer not to have to deal with a plaumber on two occasions: to remove the toilet and replace it after I make the floor repairs.

The only tricky part is to press the toilet onto the seal and not rock it up and down. That will compress the seal and create openings in the seal to the bowl.: Is it difficult to remove a toilet, repair the floor in the bathroom, then replace the toilet?
