I noticed a moldy smell in my husband’s bathroom when I went in to check on linen. When I looked down behind the commode I noticed the baseboard was black, squishy, spongy, and smelly. I went to my foyer which is the back wall to his bathroom and sure enough, there the silicone was mushy. It’s a leak. What do I do first?

Call a qualified heating plumber to replace the baseboard before it damages more of the structure.
