When ever we turn on the tap (cold or hot) the overflow pipe on the hot water tank disperses boiling hot water. The water pours out into an overflow pipe for about 1 minute or two at a considerable loss of hot water. I have turned down the thermostat (both upper and lower) considerably because the water temp was very hot but that still does not help. The tank is made by Giant. What is causing the water to run off like this?
